About Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy is a process through which the yoga therapist and client develop a personalized and evolving yoga practice. Through this process, the client finds deeper understanding, feeling empowered to heal themselves rather than rely on outside sources. Through the yoga journey, clients will bring balance to their mind and body, improving health and wellness physically, psychologically, mentally and spiritually.
Together, we explore tools that support the healing process, including: yoga postures adapted to the needs of the individual; breath practices, relaxation techniques, self-inquiry and contemplation practices, postural corrections, and dietary and lifestyle considerations. Additional therapies may include mantra, mudra, journaling, affirmative thinking, selfless service and expressing oneself creatively.
